Fair Housing
Equal Housing Opportunity
Our practice
Joe Brown and Nevada Synergy do not discriminate in the sale, rental, financing or advertising of housing, or in the provision of real estate services, on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, disability, familial status, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other basis protected by federal or Nevada law.
What that means in practice
- Every qualified buyer, seller, tenant and landlord receives the same level of service and the same information.
- Communities and neighborhoods are described by verifiable facts — access, industry, property types, distance and services — never by the characteristics of the people who live there.
- Requests to steer toward or away from an area based on a protected characteristic are declined.
- Reasonable accommodations and accessibility needs are supported throughout a transaction. See our accessibility statement.
Filing a complaint
If you believe you have experienced housing discrimination, complaints may be filed with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and with the Nevada Equal Rights Commission. Contact information for both agencies is available directly from those agencies, and Joe will help you find it if you ask.
